Find the opening <body> tag. Add a new line after it and place this directly below it on that new line.
Now any time that you want a custom field's value to show somewhere just use this code in an area that accepts HTML (such as a sidebar's content boxes or somewhere else you want the information to display in the headers and footers or another plugin) and the information pertaining to the forum account you're logged in as will take its place.
Replace the text in blue with your custom field's name, but make sure it's all lowercase, has no spaces, and has no symbols in it. If it doesn't abide by either of those three rules it won't work. It has to be all lowercase letters and numbers only.

icon in the bottom right bar (may not be applicable if you're on Forums.net), or you can disable the welcome window and/or the icon by going to Plugins > Manage > Custom Mini-Profile Creator and changing the Show Help option.
